Rapid and extensive building work has been undertaken at the recently closed Bat A-GoGo on Soi Diamond. And a new sign has appeared proclaiming that the bar will be called No.1 A-GoGo.

There is another GoGo in Jomtien disputing the title, or at least the name, called We are No 1.

Meanwhile the Roof Club has opened on Walking Street which seems to be a night club.

Popped into Walking Street on Sunday Evening, it was much busier on the roads with lots of Russian Tourists. I noticed a lot of lights in Condo Buildings which had shown no sign of life before. The Police were out on The Thappraya Road going into town and coming back but they were having little success, people have wised up to them and were using the backway past the Caddy Shack.

Started in the Sapphire Club which was busy but still way down on Girls. There were some attractive Girls in Red Bikinis with 7 girls Topless. Had a draft Lager but only stayed an hour as the very loud Bang Bang music was giving me a headache.

Followed into the Doll House which was packed and much quieter. Luckily someone left as we entered and got 2 seats at the stage. There were some lovely naked Dancers, 3 of them were bending forwards to give us an excellent view of there beautiful Arses and Pussies.

Stayed for a Draft Lager then Paul wanted to leave to get a coffee so we moved onto the Shark Club which was full as usual. Sat with the usual Girls.

The Acrobats were on the Poles when 5 or 6 Farangs came in and sat at the stage, 2 of them were acting like total wankers, one was trying to touch the Girls as they were swinging round the pole, then he started trying to give them money. Then the dick Head who was Fat, bald with glasses started running and jumping in the aisle trying to touch the Girls.

We stayed for 1 drink and Paul wanted to move on to Electric Blue, which was not a great idea as there were not many Girls in there, Mamasang Aum said they had been a lot of Barfines. I had to keep my hand on my beer to stop her knocking it over. Luckily she went off to Dance and a Farang couple came in and she said they were barfining her. First Farang lady I've seen in Walking Street agogo this December.

There were a group of men watching the Liverpool match on the tv and were shouting when they scored. Then i realized it was my neighbour Chet from Norway and his mates.

Some very nice nude Girls on show but no where near as good as the Dollhouse but I think most of the best ones had been taken out. Paul was sitting with Amp's sister Ann who was bouncing up and down on his lap. Stayed for 1 Beer and headed home,

Diamond A-GoGo on Soi Diamond is the sister bar to Windmill Club opposite. It has now been renamed to Annabels and continues under the current management.

The name has been used by the chain in the past when the chain took over G-Spot on Walking Street. It was renamed to the slightly longer spelling of Annabelle's.

And for the sake of completeness the current Annabels was actually a relocation of the Walking Street GoGo Sugar Baby A-GoGo, which was once next door to Annabelle's A-GoGo.

Popped into Walking Street on Thursday Evening, a little harder to get a Baht Bus they were coming round the Corner from Beach road either full or empty, 2 empty ones tooted us and slowed down then drove off when we tried to get on. The Police were out on Thappraya road on the way into town and had confiscated about 20 Scooters.

Walking Street was very slow again, we started in Bliss which was about half full. There were 10 Topless Dancers and Nana who was naked. Sat with an attractive girl I've never seen before. There were 9 waitresses and 4 Mamasangs in a small go-go and about 30 Dancers, one very petite Girl from Super Girl had very pronounced Camel Toe, you could have lodged a 10 baht coin in there.

Stayed for 1 Beer and headed into Dolls which had 6-8 punters but was lively with about 16 Dancers, half of them Topless, some of then very attractive. I sat with Nam as usual, who said Earn was now working in the Bat. Paul was sitting with 2 very attractive Topless Dancers.

Stayed for 1 Beer and moved onto Soi 15 looking for the Bat but it is in Soi Diamond, so we made the mistake of trying Whats Up .

It's a very large a-go-go with very low seating. There are 2 Stages one small one with beds on it and the Dancers invite you to sit on them. We didn't so not sure what happens.

There were 10 Punters in, 7 of them Farang. Some stunning Girls but also some mediocre and Fat Girls. The drinks were a rip off at 185b for water and 250b for a Lady Drink. Nothing in there to justify those prices. Bar fine was 1000b but it was 12 o'clock. We didn't stay long and when we left the place it was empty.

We crossed over to Beavers which was doing a good trade, some lovely naked Dancers on show, with 2 Girls on the Mat openly showing their charms. Paul and I got the wrong Girls in there, I had the tall slim one and he got the cute one with the Big Arse. We should have swopped.

Stayed for a Draft Beer and headed home, a very quiet night.

The New Bat A-GoGo on Soi Diamond has closed its doors. It had only a had a short run, opening in July of this year.

Someone is keen to get the replacement up and running quickly as the bar has already been gutted by builders. Maybe will still be New Bat though.

There are now 74 GoGos open around Pattaya.

A lot more traffic on the roads on Christmas Eve but Walking Street was still quiet.

Started the evening in Happy which was about half full. The Show Girls were on as we entered, they stripped down to nothing. We sat with our usual Girls who were complaining about no Barfines, they said this was the quietest Christmas they had known. There was a coach load of Japanese tourists looking very bored sitting around the stage. They stayed about half an hour, only sipping at their drinks.

Stayed for a couple of Draft Lagers and moved on to Party Girlz which was entertaining.

The only seats available were a very low couch and I wondered how I would get up when time to leave. I sat with a very attractive 19 yr old called Porn who had large natural Tits. There were several very attractive Topless Dancers and 7 Coyote Dancers. The music was varied and good.

As I expected I could not get up off the Couch when it was time to leave. The mamasang who was under 5 foot tall, but stocky, put her arms around my back and lifted me up, she must have been very strong as I weigh a 100 kilos.

We passed on to the Angel which was very quiet. There were some beautiful Girls in there but none of them came over to us.

Our usual Girls Aor and Nook were already sitting with a Punter, so we did not stay long and moved on to Electric Blue which was fairly busy.

I popped into Walking Street on Saturday evening. No Police around and it looks as if they've nearly finished relaying the Thappraya Road and the new Drainage in second road.

I started in SuperModel . Sat with Koy and Ya on the not very comfortable seating. Had a Half Pint of very nice Heineken draft Lager. The Coyote Dancers were on when I entered followed by the Topless Dancers. The downside is they don't move around. Some very nice looking Girls and the music was not too loud.

Left after half an hour when my backside started to protest with the uncomfortable bench seat.

Fought my way through the large throngs of Tourists, played spot the Farang among the hoardes of Asian faces. I saw 2 and turned into the Golden Club .

There were 2 Dancers dancing to Thai music when I entered. The music was very loud, I put some tissue paper in my ears which made it much better. One of the Dancers was a revolting fat Ladyboy who looked like Gary Glitter in drag. They were followed by the Topless Dancers who were all very attractive.

My table was surrounded by waitresses Aoy and Inn and 2 other girls. I kept my eyes on the stage, I wasn't going to buy them Lady Drinks at 250b a time. Eventually they drifted away. I did tip Inn and Aoy later. The Topless Dancers were followed by the Coyote Dancers who were below average.

The seats are a good 6 inches wider than in Supermodel so very comfortable. The half pint of Draft Heineken was very nice at 100b. The Bar fine was a crazy 2000b but only 1500b for waiting staff and Coyote Dancers, a bargain, haha.

Followed into the Shark Club , which was packed with punters and Dancers. I sat with a very cute Girl called Lek. She said my usual Girls Del and Ray had gone home.

The place was packed with new cute Girls. There were several absolute stunners, if you like Girls young and cute. Lady Drinks were 160b or 200b for the models who do the Ballet Dancing on the Poles, bar fine 2000b.

Lek said she was on the Blob for the next 5 Days, that's nothing I've been off for 5 years. There was a new Mamasang who was well over 60 and ugly, she kept trying to get a Lady drink off me with no luck. The Men sitting next to me bought her one, they must have been tourists. I had a coffee, I did buy a drink for waitress Bee, she always has Tequila and a couple of drinks for Lek.

I stayed for an hour and headed into the Angel , which was quiet with only 6 or 7 punters. Some lovely Girls on stage in Black Stockings and Suspenders.

There was a young Chubby waitress who was really funny, I thought she must be drunk, she was jumping around everywhere and fell off her stool. I sat with usual Girl Aor, a very attractive Topless Dancer. Just before I left at about 1 am, punters started to roll in, most of them were well known to the Staff.

I didn't finish my pint of Draft Lager and headed up soi 15 to the Baht Bus. A very entertaining evening, hope those Girls are still in the Shark Club next week.

But its no wonder all the Farang's have headed to L K Metro, only the sex starved Asians are mad enough to pay Walking Street prices.

Tee Rak A-GoGo has closed on Walking Street on the corner of Soi Diamond. The bar had lasted about 9 months.

It was a sister bar to Yes! A-GoGo which tried out the market for boy A-GoGo. The venture clearly didn't work out as Yes! has just closed too.

So there are now 75 girls A-GoGos open around Pattaya.

Peppermint A-GoGo is set to close at the end of business on Sunday night. The bar has been in Pattaya longer than I have, so I don't know exactly how many years it has been open. It did start life 30m further north above Marine Disco, but it was broadly similar to the current venue.

Just thinking how all my favourite places have closed, Sweethearts, Peppermint, Lollipop, X-Zone, Casanovy, U2 Bar, Beavers, Hooty's, Spicy Girls, New Living Dolls, SuperBaby.

Walking Street has completely changed with closing of a lot of Bars and the Changing of music style. No more Hotel California and Highway star to be heard and even the old style go go music has virtually gone... And the ex-pats will be following soon if the government has its way. Will Walking street become a ghost town or just be full Asian and Indian men, same thing really.

And of course prices have trebled, 2000b for a Barfine is cloud cuckoo land.

And whilst we are on a nostalgia trip, here's my fond remembrances:

Hot & Cold, Mistys then Legs on Soi Pattayaland 2, Club Electric Blue on Walking Street and the Jr version on Soi Diamond, Catz in the Covent Garden Complex, the original Shark Club when it was half the upstairs bar on Soi Diamond, the original Champion , Sugarbaby and I agree with Babydolls .

There is a new Gentlemen's Club heading towards completion on Soi Buakhao. Golden Time will open at the venue previously occupied by the Surprise Yourself Ladyboy bar. It is about mid Soi, south of the Soi Diana/Soi LK Metro area.

The bar is connected to Babylon Club, another recently opened Gentlemen's Club.

There used to be a popular beer bar on Soi 8 sharing the name but I don't suppose there's a connection.

More than 30 A-Go-Go dancers descended on Pattaya police station at 3 am this morning claiming that their foreign boss has not paid them, reported Ruk Siam News .

They were from an unnamed bar on Walking Street. They were due their salary on a ten day rolling cycle on October 24th. He asked for a delay and promised they would be paid at 9pm on October 28th, yesterday. But when the time came the owner was nowhere to be seen.

The police received the report and advised the ladies to take the matter up directly with the Chonburi department of employment.

The reports notes that the Facebook page for the bar, quotes a review: A nice gogo, beautiful and sexy girls, normal staff.

Google kindly reveals that this comment is on the Facebook page for Hidden A-GoGo.

Update: Dark

And it is now reported that Hidden A-GoGo is indeed dark.

This leaves 75 GoGos still open around Pattaya.

King's Club blow job bar has taken over from Bliss Lounge at the 3rd Road venue opposite Soi Xzyte. The bar has new owners and new prices, 500 for BJ and 400 for the room.

The well known Bliss Lounge had been open for a decade but past glories don't always add up to much at the moment.

Popped into Walking Street Last Night, it was very quiet on the roads, no Police about.

Started in the Sapphire Club which was fairly busy. Not the usual amount of Girls, only 3 groups, 8 Topless Dancers and most of the others in Sexy underwear.

The Music was good, only a little loud for my tastes. Why do all Disc Jockeys think music is only good when it's distorting?

Stayed for a pint of Draft and to see all the Girls and headed for the Shark Club which was Buzzing with a lot of cute Girls and a lot of Topless Dancers. It varies from week to week here.

Sat with usual pair of Cute Girls Del and Ray. Del has been promoted to the ShowGirls, she just stands around with her Tit's out while the Gymnasts work the Poles.

I won a free drink but i didn't want one, I thought they'd knock it off the Bill but they didn't, I'd of had a coffee if I'd known. The Girls got some Chicken on a stick with a very nice Coconut Curry Sauce.

Stayed for a Draft Lager and headed back up Soi 15 to Electric Blue , which was not that Busy, which is unusual.

A couple of very Cute naked Birds on the Stage, the one i fancied was already with a punter. Then On came over I'd not seen her for a long time. Golden Club is a new Walking Street GoGo that opened recently at the venue that was previously Sugar Baby.

It is clearly targeted at Chinese customers and seems a little daunting for farangs. It has a street facing window with a Thai coyote dancer that is surely associated with Russian bars that are best avoided.

It also has a formidable door along the lines of the Diamond GoGo and the door staff look well in control of deciding who is allowed to enter.

Office Club on Soi LK Metro has closed down in its current guise. It seems that its live music and fashions shows didn't quite it the mark. It seems that the next project may be to become a nghtclub. Office A-GoGo had been around for a quite a while but the show based incarnation had only been running since May of this year.

Meanwhile Ginza A-GoGo on Walking Street has closed, and put up the 'for sale' signs'. The bar first opened in October 2012.

Harem A-GoGo also on Walking Street has also gone dark, but it is not quite clear if this is a glitch or else more long term. Perhaps the name rather is rather restrictive of passing trade, but previous Harem Clubs in Pattaya were actually farang based.

So a recent upward curve in the number of GoGos seems to have become a downturn and there are now 77 bars around Pattaya claiming to be GoGos

I popped into Walking Street on Saturday Evening. I got off at soi 15 and walked down soi 14, there were 3 Teenage Girls sitting outside a Hairdressers in short skirts, I sat outside the next Hairdressers for a breather, when the Girls moved on one of them was stunning. I assume they were looking for Business but looked like newbies. I saw them later talking to a Thai man on Walking Street,

I was heading for Super Model but I got grabbed by 2 Girls and pulled into Dolls , I tried to resist but they were too strong. The place was nearly full when I sat down and looked at the Girls. It was Joy from New Living Dolls, not seen her since it closed a couple of years ago, I didn't know the other Girl. Funnily enough Joy was the Cleaner in living Dolls but she is slim and very attractive. She used to sit on my lap, no room for that in Dolls.

It was a long narrow venue with a central Stage. There were 8 Girls Topless and in Stockings and Suspenders, couldn't see the Girls up the far end and the Girls did not move round.

The seats were comfortable but no Draft Beer. The music was ok, the mamasang was the Ladyboy from Living Dolls.

Stayed for a San Miguel, and went next door to Super Model . It was very similar to Dolls only slightly wider and longer. Unfortunately the Dwarves had been back making the seating, it was too narrow and the table was too close to you. I sat leaning forward onto the Table.

There was a Girl sitting next to me looking the other way when she turned round it was Koy, she was looking very attractive she'd dyed her Hair Chestnut Brown and had a Cleopatra Fringe. She was wearing a tartan Rah Rah Skirt and long white Socks, very sexy.

There were 4 groups of Girls, 2 Coyote and 2 Topless, and they did move around a little, but you had a better view of all the Girls, There was a lovely young Topless Dancer in front of me she was very cute. In the next group there was a shorter chubby Girl with a Big Arse and Big Tits to balance,

It must be the worst ago-go in walking Street, there were 3 very fat Dancers and 6 or 7 attractive Dancers who were not likely to see 35 again, but had very nice figures. They were wearing just a G-String.

2 of them came over for a drink they were very persistent. They both pulled down their G-String and put my hand on their Pussies then stuck my fingers under my nose. It was the sort of place our Editor likes. There was a middle aged waitress with a moon face, she looked like my Aunty Audrey. She would not go away so in the end I bought her a Beer, and she kept trying to wake my sleeping Dick with no luck and asking me to Bar fine her which I kept declining. Apart from the constant pressure to buy everyone in the place Drinks I had a good time, as everyone was extremely friendly.

But if you do go in there make sure you have plenty of money, or are good at saying NO. Something strange happened 4 Indian men came in and they ignored the Fat Birds.

I stayed for a San Miguel and Headed into the Angel . It was really Buzzing with a lot of Punters and very sexy Girls. The Girls on stage were all silm and wearing stockings and Suspenders. A Girl with a big bum was trying to talk to a man sitting behind me and her bum was very close to my face. She said sorry and that she remembered me from Supergirl. Drank half my Beer and left about 1 am. Another great night in Pattaya, although I nearly ran out of money.
